The Soul of the American Left
The most admired political writer in America’s universities is Noam Chomsky. David Horowitz has exposed this vicious fraud time and time again. Now Horowitz has published Paul Bogdanor’s “The Top 100 Chomsky Lies.” Paul follows each Chomsky quote with the truth. It is shocking how anyone can follow this Pied Piper of leftist absurdity.
If you know any naive college freshman who’s unprepared for the barrage of lies, you might want to inoculate him/her with a dose of Bogdanor’s medicine. Thank you, David and Paul.
Next we need an exposé on Howard Zinn.

I concur. I am sad to say, I followed this tripe, when I was younger. I followed it even though it didn't make any sense to me. The fact that it didn't make sense, to me, was an indication that it was intelligent. This, of course, shows you that I must have felt insecure about my intellectual abilities.
In other words, it was a tale of intimidation; intellectual bullying.
Ah, the college life.
Thanks Pastorius. There are good people who can be reached with a little preventive medicine. Some will get it right away. But others need time and you're just planting the seed.
I think "100 Lies" is a quick read that will at least help many to know that there is another side.
By the way, there's a fellow I met online that went to the same collage I attended at the same time (late 60s & early 70s) but he spend his life as a communist organizer in the Socialist Workers Party until he became disillusioned in 1990. A few years later he became a conservative and now gives lectures exposing the current methods of the far left. Sometimes when I’m about to write others off and I believe they can’t change, I remember this fellow. And I try to recommend books and articles that will plant that nagging doubt that will ultimately help someone down the line when they are ready to re-think it all.
That .pdf file is an excellent find! I will be sharing it with everyone I know!
You know what they say...An ounce of prevention...

Here is where flexing our financial muscles will really make a difference. Whether we do it as alumni or a la CAIR with pressure on corporate sponsors, or both, or through pressuring other related financiers, we can bring these universities to their knees. Moneyed people keep faculties like these in operation: Deprive them of funds, and watch these weather-vaned empty suits change course.
Even though it cut across my moral grain, I bought a copy of Zinn's history of the USA, and it sits boiling on my shelf to be read soon. Meanwhile, I took this quote from your link: "Zinn believes that socialism and Communism are systems that advance the cause of humanity, and that America is a reactionary, terrorist state; those beliefs form the foundation of his tendentious and error-ridden book."
For anyone who chooses to get to the real basic principles underlying people like Chomsky and Zinn, this book by Zinn seems like a gold mine, for major-thesis-territory. He seems an unusually clear presentation of the case of the "wrong side."
Chomsky is one of those types who uses the fog-horn to summon the fog. Just think of how superficial people have to be to accept the tripe these people offer. It is a frightening thought.

Ah! Foolish youth!
I don't quite know how I escaped believing the leftists in college, but I did attend quite a conservative university.
